The Citadel of Rønne with cannon turret is from 1689 and is part of fortifications from the 1680s that were never completed.
The yellow-washed magazine buildings from the mid 1800s house the Bornholm Defence Museum.
The entire facility is listed. Some of the old bastions around the buildings are intact.
