Next to Hovedvagten is Merchant Rønnes Gård, Søndergade 14, built in 1813.
Note the belvedere on the roof, from where the merchant could keep an eye on his ships in the harbour.
“Rector Koefoed’s House”, the brick-built building next to and parcelled out from Rønnes Gård, was built in 1894.
The granite sculpture on the square was made by sculptor Bent Sørensen.
