Bornholm Museum's archaeological activities are an important feature of the cultural-historical environment. Unlike art exhibitions and popular museum activities, the archaeological work is more anonymous, but when interesting and lavish finds are made, archaeology comes into the limelight and overshadows everything else.
When there is construction and excavation work in the cultural-historical landscape it is an important task for the archaeological department, to investigate these sites for possible evidence of our forefathers lives and histories.
